What the app collects
Nothing. No personal information, no usage statistics, no device identifiers, no advertising identifiers, no crash reports, no analytics.
There is no sign-up, no login, and no account.
What the app stores, and where
The app keeps what you type into it — tournament names, player names, scores and settings — in a database on your phone. Nobody else can read it. It is not backed up to us, because there is no “us” for it to go to: the app has no server.
Player names are personal information under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act. Because the app never sends them anywhere, we are never in a position to handle them, and we never do.
What the app sends
Nothing. The app makes no network requests of any kind.
It asks Android for no permissions at all — not internet access, not storage, not location, not contacts. You can check this yourself: Android's app info screen for Padel Barista shows what it may access, and the list is empty.
Sharing your results
The app can hand your standings to Android's own share sheet, so you can send them to a group chat or save them. That is your action, on your own data, and you choose what receives it.
Once you have sent it, that picture is subject to the privacy policy of whichever app you sent it with — WhatsApp, Gmail, or anything else. Padel Barista is not part of that and never learns what you picked.
Advertising
There is none. No ads, no ad networks, no tracking, no in-app purchases.
Children
The app is not directed at children, and it collects nothing from anybody of any age.
Deleting your data
Delete a tournament inside the app and it is gone from the phone. Uninstall the app and everything it stored goes with it.
There is nothing for you to request from us, because we hold nothing.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes in a way that affects this page, the page changes on the same day and the date at the top changes with it.
